To ensure your pets' well being, certain aspects of your pet should be periodically checked on. You may notice that some of these signs are repeated in other sections. This is a more general analysis of pet emergencies. Animals have a natural instinct to hide their illness as well as possible for as long as they can. In the wild, if they are visibly sick, they will be eaten or dominated. Though this is especially the case with prey animals, this is also true for predators as well. For this reason, pet owners must be aware of the subtle signs that may indicate their pets' discomfort so as to be able to treat the problem before it gets out of hand. Furry friends: - Significantly smaller stool.
- Eating less/not accepting the usually longed treat
- Unbalanced walking
- Discharge from eyes/nose
- Excessive diarrhoea or vomiting
- Skin inflammation/sores/abcesses
- Dull coat
- Bloated abdomen
- Dragging rear end
